A Love Story

There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl.

This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.

Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then...

Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.

Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company ...

You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents.

With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, home  etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her...

Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. She had wanted
her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her gain...he can take some of those back with him...

Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever. The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again.........hope you understand.

Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.

What He Valued Most

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.
It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls,
career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across
the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy
life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to
spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing
could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The
funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old
newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

"Jack, did you hear me?"
"Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of
him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.

"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were
doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of
the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.

"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.

"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make
sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said.

"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this
business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me
things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral,"
Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his
hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no
children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to
see the old house next door one more time.

Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing
over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house
was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture,
every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.

"The box is gone," he said.

"What box? " Mom asked.

"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I
must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell
me was 'the thing I value most,'" Jack said.

It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered
it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had
taken it.

"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said. "I better
get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from
work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. "Signature required
on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within
the next three days," the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and
looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was
difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention.

"Mr. Harold Belser" it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There
inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read
the note inside.

"Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack
Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life." A small key was taped
to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack
carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold
pocket watch. Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing,
he unlatched the cover.

Inside he found these words engraved: "Jack, Thanks for your time!
Harold Belser."

"The thing he valued most...was...my time."

Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and
cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his
assistant asked.

"I need some time to spend with my son," he said.

"Oh, by the way, Janet...thanks for your time!"

COULD YOU ???

Yes, the title what you read is right. Getting Confused? Let me make you clear.

I still remember the words of my Mathematics Professor Mr.Santosh, "Be a MASTER of one inspite of being a JACK of all". It means, to be a professional in the real world you need to be a specialist in one aspect instead of being an average skills in all. They are most motivating words said to me by anyone in my life.

Daily, we come across many words, chit-chats but we rather dont concentrate on any thing. Do u know y? Its bcoz our heart doesnt want to know much about the issue. So all you need to do is listen what your heart says to urself and go in that direction.

Well, U cant become a professional in a night, Can u? U need to work really very hard. In life, when we need to achieve anything then we just need to spare some time for it. Time is the only thing on earth which we cant earn back again. Everything needs time. The person who manage his times and take advantage of it will surely suceed in life. So work hard till u r ready for it. Practice. Make urself clear. Remove the fear of losing. My dear friend, Losing never matter, Win and loss are like head and tail of a coin. U just cant win everytime. U need to lose one or the other day, then only u can know what u r made up off, what is that u miss to win.

When u need to be a professional, u need to think like one. Strive hard, even harder, more harder until the goal is reached. The people who live for only winning are idiots. When u fall and raise, the power within u is the ultimate. None can beat you. You are God.

Be confident, Try to be inspiration for others. Uff ! U dont believe me? Well , A man can cheat anyone except himself. Then just close ur eyes, place ur hand on your heart and ask urself "Am I a master in any art??" Then you wil know the answer. Remember, the fear inside you only vanish when you are perfect, then only u can feel the confidence. Try it. U can do it, Buddy!

How to make 700 MB or 1.4 GB (1 CD or 2 CD) DVD RiP

I have seen many people asking this in many forums over and over, how to back up the DVDs by making Smaller DVD rips ??
Its pretty simple though, one may archive great quality DVD RIPs with available free tools. Let me make u clear..
Software Requirements ??
1. Windows OS (2000_sp4 or adobe)
2. DVD Dycripter (Free) — Download Here3. AutoGK (Free) — Download here
Hardware Requirements ??
1. DVD ROM
2. 10 GB Free HDD Space with NTFS Partition
3. A Fast Computer….
By fast computer I mean as faster it is that better the ripping timing would be, for example, from a 4.7 GB DVD to 700 MB rips on these bellow computer took these times,
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 512 MB DDR RAM and PATA HDD — 13 hours
Intel Pentium 4 (630) 3.0 GHz 1 MB L2 with 1 GB DDR-II 667 MHz Dual Channel RAM and SATA-I HDD —- 7 Hours
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 OC @ 3.6 GHz with 4 GB DDR-II 700 MHz Dual Channel and SATA-II HDD — 45mins
So try and guess your systems time when you start the process….
The Process
We will use DVD Dycripter to rip a DVD 5 or DVD 9 in a single VOB File… If you look in the DVD file structure you may find for one movie there number file (VOB 0.99GB) in sequence… So the idea is use this software to create one single large VOB for encodning
Start the DVD Dycripter….
In the Main window change the MOD to IFO
Now I assume you have the DVD which you want to rip, in you DVD ROM, the picture now would look like this one, above…
This Bellow Step you may Skip, its for advance usage only if you have problem then prefer here….
————————– Advance Step ——————————–
Now go to Settings, and do the followings,
In TAB File Mode Set option File Splitting to None
Settings
Move to next TAB, IFO MODE , and set the option File Splitting to None
Once again to next ISO Read Mode and set the option File Splitting to None
This will allow you to receive one single large VOB file… around 4 GB for DVD 5 and around 7.5 GB for a DVD 9…
Next step will make sure that DVD Dycripter doesn’t force re-read for the Damage DVD Sectors…. This helps greatly up to 20 times faster when you get stuck with a DVD which comes with Read Error….
Go to TAB I/O and set the option for Read and Write error retried to 0, also Check on the Box says, Ignore Read Errors…
You are done with advance Settings of the DVD Dycripter !!!! Now we may proceed to dycript the DVD….
————————– End of Advance Settings —————————
Select the PPG in the Input box which is the longer in time format, and then Select the place where you want your File to go, (make sure its one NTFS Partition with atleast 10 GB space in it) and Hit the button to Dycript….
It will start Coping Data to your HDD, usually with good DVD media it takes around 15 mins !!!!
Once you are done, fire up the AutoGK …..
Now Browse from the Input Box to select the file which you just have copied using DVD Dypripter… Then Select the Size you want 1 CD or 2 CD, for Good quality which you want to view in 19″ Screens I would say Select 2 CD !!! how ever 700 MB too will just work out fine tooo !!!
Now Please click on Advance Settings… and in the Advance TAB, Select Codec as xvid and Resolution to auto Width and Audio Type to VBR MP3 128kbps !!!!
Now at the Main AutoGK Window, Click add job and the Hit start Button… Thats it… Auto GK will do the rest for you…

Story Of Fleming

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to eke out a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog.
He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life."
"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer.
At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked.
"Yes," the farmer replied proudly.

"I'll make you a deal. Let me take him and give him a good education. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll grow to a man you can be proud of."
And that he did. In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia. What saved him? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

GIFT OF LIFE

On the very first day, God created the cow. He said to the cow, "Today I have created you! As a cow, you must go to the field with the farmer all day long. You will work all day under the sun! I will give you a life span of 50 years."

The cow objected, "What? This kind of a tough life you want me to live for 50 years? Let me have 20 years, and the 30 years I'll give back to you." So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the dog. God said to the dog, "You are supposed to do is to sit all day by the door of your house. Any people that come in, you will have to bark at them! I'll give a life span of 20 years."

The dog objected, "What? All day long to sit by the door? No way! I give you back my other 10 years of life!" So God agreed.

On the third day, God created the monkey. He said to the monkey, "Monkeys have to entertain people. You've got to make them laugh and do monkey tricks. I'll give you 20 years life span."

The monkey objected. "What? Make them laugh? Do monkey faces and tricks? Ten years will do, and the other 10 years I'll give you back." So God agreed.

On the fourth day, God created man and said to him, "Your job is to sleep, eat, and play. You will enjoy very much in your life. All you need to do is to enjoy and do nothing. This kind of life, I'll give you a 20 year life span."

The man objected. "What? Such a good life! Eat, play, sleep, do nothing? Enjoy the best and you expect me to live only for 20 years? No way, man!....Why don't we make a deal? Since the cow gave you back 30 years, and the dog gave you back 10 years and the monkey gave you back 10 years, I will take them from you! That makes my life span 70 years, right?" So God agreed.

AND THAT'S WHY.... In our first 20 years, we eat, sleep, play, enjoy the best and do nothing much. For the next 30 years, we work all day long, suffer and get to support the family. For the next 10 years, we entertain our grandchildren by making monkey faces and monkey tricks. And for the last 10 years, we stay at home, sit by the front door and bark at people!

FOOTPRINTS IN SAND

Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”

The Lord replied, “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”
